Detailed description:
The famous "Salmon Leap Waterfalls" at Cenarth are the home of the coracle fishermen, and the National Coracle Centre. The Coracle Centre houses a unique collection of coracles from all over Wales, and features a workshop where the ancient craft of coracle making is displayed. Coracles are often on the river during the summer holidays, and rides can be arranged.
The village has a well-stocked shop and Post Office, craft shops, picturesque pubs, National Coracle Centre, working 17th century water mill, beaches, bowls, golf, horse riding, fishing, swimming and theme parks. Leisure centres can also be found within easy distance of the camp site.
Visit the Pembrokeshire coastline and the Preseli Hills. See Britain's smallest city, St Davids. Follow the craft trails to find woollen mills, pottery, woodturning and farmhouse cheese makers. Visit castles, historic places, and take a day excursion over to Ireland. Have some fun at Cenarth Paintball Games.
