The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum to all its pupils. Children enjoy coming to school. There are a number of interesting and exciting activities which are taught by specialist subject teachers- introduction to sport, fencing, judo, French from nursery and reception classes to year 6, choir, photography, and music. Workshops support the curriculum- music, health and safety, well being, drama, sports. Pupils in years 5 and 6 last enjoyed residential visits - a visit to a Christian outdoor pursuits centre and a residential visit to York. The children welcome a variety of visitors to celebrate and share a wide range of focus groups and events. The school is constantly striving to offer all pupils a vibrant and challenging curriculum with many extras. Examples include 'French Breakfast', music concerts at school and church, sport team events, and drama. The school plans for and offers an inclusive curriculum at each stage. The children develop into confident individuals that are prepared to try different things. There is a school based breakfast, after school and holiday club. The personal development of pupils is excellent.
