Short profile:
Over 55 kinds of extra-curricular activities are available for pupils. They include a range of sporting activities including football, badminton, cricket, netball; cultural and creative activities, e.g. art club, drama productions, Public Speaking and debating competitions, orchestra, wind band, jazz ensemble.
There are many other opportunities offered to our pupils through Duke of Edinburgh Award, field trips, theatre visits, competitions and trips to experience the culture and languages of different countries, to ski, for football coaching, for historical and spiritual appreciation of the effect of the last two wars.
An annual Technology Exhibition brings together the skills of the technology department, textiles, food, art and music departments. Many departments provide additional teaching and study opportunities after school.
We now operate a House System which encourages student participation in extra curricular activities and promotes healthy competition. House Captains are elected and they play an active role in the organisation of House activities.
