Short profile:

Allerton Primary School was built

in 1968 as separate Infant and

Junior Schools.

In 1999 both

schools were amalgamated to

create our school today

Our school is situated in a pleasant residential area close to Immingham's Civic Centre and local amenities.

The school has three keystage one classrooms, a Foundation Unit, six keystage two classrooms, an IT suite, two dining/P.E halls with ajoining P.E Stores, a music room, resource room and library area.

Detailed description:

The school is set in extensive grounds with 4 playground areas.The curriculum is strong in all areas, and teaching and learning standards are very high, shown in Ofsted report (July 2006). This is backed by excellent structures for S.E.N. children. There is an atmosphere of warmth, care, honesty and vitality in which all children, parents, Governors and employees are valued.

The roll for September 2008, is 284. Approximately 31.5% are registered for S.E.N. Behaviour and P.S.E. policies and their implementation are such that children's behaviour and attitudes are excellent.
