Our school recognises its historic foundation and strives to develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the church at parish and diocesan level.
We aim to serve the community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice, We encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experience we offer all our pupils.
The school office is open between 8.45am and 3.15pm.
Detailed description:
In addition to the music taught weekly to each class by our specialist music teacher, children are able to enrol for instrumental tuition in guitar, piano, flute, recorder or violin. A lunchtime choir club is also available.Every child is taught French by our language specialist; an after-school French Club is available.Pupils in Years 3 to 6 receive weekly sports coaching by our specialist coach. A wide range of sports activities are also available after school: Tag rugby, netball, kwik cricket, football and judo.
Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 are taught to swim at our local pool.Other clubs offered are: drama, art, science, Nature Watch, sewing and ICT. Visits to diverse places of interest are made, including a residential trip for Year 6 pupils.
All pupils take part in drama productions.
