Short profile:
Our Year 11 students take part in a personal development programme rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding practice’. The Brathay programme is based on outdoor activities to provide students with opportunities to develop self confidence in challenging environments. Team building and problem solving skills are also developed through the programme. The course is accredited and contributes towards GCSE success.
We provide a range of special activities :
- ‘Super Learning Days’ for everyone
- Learning Skills for all year groups
- ‘Learning Zone’ focussed courses for individuals and small groups
Extra curricular activities are available in enrichment time after school. These include:
· GCSE revision and coursework sessions
· Table Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Rugby, Cricket
· LAN Games and Go-Karting Club
