All children receive their curriculum entitlement and this is richly enhanced by a range of activities.
Educational visits include a visit to a synagogue and trips to a science museum and a sculpture park.
Many visitors come into school, each bringing an area of interest or expertise to help the children's learning. For example the Great Fire of London drama workshop brought history to life.
Throughout the year the school has curriculum events. We had a Scrap Heap Challenge day at the start of our recycling topic. The children's challenge was to build models from waste card, paper, foil or plastic.
Book fairs are held after school for parents to browse and buy books together with their children.
An annual sports week is held which provides a series of taster sessions in different sports for the children to try.
We have a range of lunchtime and after school clubs, including French, dance, multisports and science. The after school multi-sports club caters for forty children and provides for skills development and small team games.
We encourage children to take part in various charitable and fund raising activities. We have supported various national and local charities
