Over the years we have gained experience in managing properties, and have been one of the longest established letting agents in Cardiff. We understand that effective property management is about good communication between landlords, agents, tenants and the contractors. Good letting agent
Neil EvansI rented a property on Claude Road through Albany Property Services. They were professional in their approach and I was very satisfied with the management of the property.
I had a few issues with the property through out the year but they were always resolved in time and the landlord himself was also very Helpful.

Jake TurnerAlbany Property Services are by far the worst letting agents I've experienced in Cardiff.
They refuse to oblige the contractually agreed 24 hour notice period, with the bulldog landlord turning up whenever he feels like, using excuses like
"I didn't think to text" or "it slipped my mind".
They are also allergic to spending money to correct problems that don't affect the re-sale potential of the house - the landlord was aware of one simple to fix issue for several months, but because any new tenants wouldn't find out about it until they moved in he "couldn't be bothered to fix it".
There is also the rediculous issue of their agency fees - we paid an extortionate £110 each to sign the original 6-month contract, even though we found the flat ourselves on gumtree, but when we asked to renew for another 6-months there was even more bad news as we were hit by a £60 fee "as there's a lot of work involved in signing a new contract that we don't get paid for". I wish I got paid £60 for the ten minutes it took to change the dates on the contract, print it out and sign it...
In short, most landlords only see you as a big walking £ sign, but at least they treat you like you get something for your money. With Albany Property services you're just left with a feeling of being used and abused while they laugh at you from their stately mansions "that cost £6 a day to heat during the winter". Which in case you're wondering, is what they told us when we told them there was a gas leak and we were concerned that our pokey 2-bed flat was costing us £5 a day in gas...

Maciej MuscialI rented a one bedroom flat through Albany Property Services today and was really impressed how they fast tracked my application as I really needed a new flat after being messed about by another letting agency in the area. The staff were polite and professional and all my questions were answered. I wish all letting agents are as professional and understanding as this.... Thank you Albany Property Services

KatThe owner is the most unhelpful person I have ever come across. Angry, rude, a blatant liar and actively disinterested in his clients. Dodgy dealers I would NEVER use again.

As soon as you've signed your contract they couldn't care less about anything that goes wrong, and the owner kept using the fact that it would cost him money in rent if he didn't come in and dismantle our living room in order to paint over some damp that had been there 6 months
