Detailed description:
Activites vary each half term. We have offered gymnastics ( for KS2 and KS1 ), orienteering, dance, football, tag rugby, cross country running, gardening, netball and singing.
The children take part in a range of festivals and events organised by the Sports' Partnership, Extended services or the local cluster. These activities include opportunities for the younger children to paticipate too. The activities include sports, arts and music.
Our choir took part in Young Voices at the Sheffield Arena this year. The parents accompanied them and the experience was a memorable one.
Each year we organise a residential visit to an outdoor centre for the Y5 and Y6 children. The teachers organise visits to support the children's learning as appropriate.
Y5 and Y6 children go to Crucial Crew which teaches them what to do in emergency situations, eg in case of a fire at home. They have the chance to ring 999 as if dealing with a real incident.
We have extensive school grounds which we use as much as possible.
