Education-This area of work is a particular specialism of the practice. The proprietor, Aidan Simpson, has over a decade of experience in the sector having worked with Grant Maintained, Foundation, Voluntary Aided, Community and Private Schools on projects ranging from small extensions up to whole schools and strategic initiatives covering several schools at a time. He has designed nurseries, foundation stage units, primary schools and secondary schools as well as Sure Start and Children's Centres.

Commercial-Our work in this sector ranges from small retail projects that have included the development and integration of the vendor's corporate image, through to large office developments that incorporate complementary ancillary uses.
Leisure and Community-Many projects are now expected to satisfy the demands of third-party clients and users as well as providing facilities beyond what would have previously been considered to be normal opening hours.
Through involvement in multi-stakeholder developments such as Sure Start Centres and Tourist Villages, we have developed a specialism for effective, early stage consultation coupled with an ability to make buildings perform well beyond their core requirements.
Prior to any design work, we formulate a Design Brief that summarises the needs of the client as we understand them. It evolves from premises surveys and discussions with the client and any other stakeholders.
