Short profile:
Our aim is to help older people make the most of later life. The staff and volunteers are committed to promoting the well-being of our clients and respond to their needs. We believe that age should be valued, choice is important and that older people should be able to stay independent for as long as possible. A free, confidential service, which provides older people and their carers, with reliable and impartial information on a wide range of issues equipping them to make informed choices and decisions.
Assistance in the explanation and completion of benefit forms is also provided. An Information and Advice Outreach Worker is available to visit clients in their own home or at a Community Venue. A Home Services Directory which provides details of reputable contractors.
We also provide a range of fee based services, including Day Centres, Shopping and Footcare.
