Short profile:
Confidence and self esteem are very important, especially for someone who may have been active and independent before giving up their home to get extra support. Or, for those who still live in their home, being supported within their home environment and needing to feel in charge of their lives.The course is not a qualification, but does provide an insight into what can be achieved to improve the older person's quality of life. A certificate of attendance is given to each attendee, together with a Handbook covering the ideas demonstrated and other ideas.
