AGE CONCERN

Age Concern Havering is dedicated to Havering but will now go beyond the borough's boundary when its services are required. It works in active partnership with the Council, NHS regionally and others in the voluntary sector. Also, it is developing important new links with businesses locally keen to demonstrate their community responsibilities in actions and not just words.

Age Concern Havering is an independent charity and company limited by guarantee that provides services and resources for those aged 50 years and over, who live or work in and around Havering. The charity's origins stretch back to 1949, but today the Age Concern Havering Group is a substantial, reliable, vibrant and innovative organisation providing over 40 forms of service to older people. These range from information and advice for those who may be caring for an older person, through multiple activities in the community, to bespoke home-based services for individuals with high personal needs.
