As a keen and experienced hobbyist I am happy to undertake repairs to antique clocks for owners in Essex, UK. I do this at cost, not for profit, just to cover the annual expenses incurred in maintaining my hobby. I mostly work on antique clock movements (not necessarily wildly expensive ones) but can also help with modern mechanical clock movements, too. I cannot / do not repair watches. I also have a selection of clocks available for sale as my collection has grown out of control. For this reason I am not buying clocks at the moment but if you have one that does not work and you do not want to repair it, or simply cannot afford to, I will always try to help. I prefer owners to deliver and then collect. Turnround varies but two to three weeks is typical.

David MyersI had two clocks, one was running slow and the other did not run at all. Neither had proper keys and one did not have a pendulum. These were repaired at a very reasonable cost and far below the estimated price from 'high street' repairers. The pendulum had to be hand made.
