Our school has a wide range of sporting activities available to all pupils from Reception to Year 6, many of these involve multi skill programmes as well as coaching. The school enters and is successful in a variety of sporting leagues and tournaments which gives many opportunities for pupils to play competitively. This is recognised through the school achieving the Active Marks. We are an advocate school for physical activity and games recognised by the Sports Trust for England.
Children in our school have many opportunities to develop their creative skills through art, music and drama. The school runs clubs, holds exhibitions and concerts and inspires the children through organising many visits to the theatre and through inviting performing artists into school.
We are a school that sings and we make a lovely sound. The quality of our performances has been highly regarded.
Staff here work hard to make learning fun.
Detailed description:
We enjoy spacious school grounds that enable many opportunities for outdoor learning, a large playing field, playground, stream, wood, and greenhouse -meeting place of our active and productive gardening club.They organise many educational visits to bring learning alive.
