ACUMEN DESIGN CONSULTANCY

Acumen Design has worked closely with Electro-Tech Colour for many years on a wide range of marketing. With some recent changes to personnel and company structure we were asked to create a new direct marketing piece that also evolved their current identity. The main focus was to create a leaflet that would convey their services and products but in a case study style so potential clients could see how and where their products and services could be used, for example retail, showrooms, outdoor graphics etc. Previously, their marketing material focussed more on describing their services and products in isolation.

Our brief was to create a new fresh look for their marketing, which would be particularly attractive to marketing managers and other design/advertising agencies. As well as updating the corporate colours we wanted to create a graphic theme that could be used on other marketing planned for the imminent future. We wanted to ensure their whole marketing range had cohesion, a fundamental of successful company marketing. We developed a circles graphic that is dynamic and adaptable and is now used to showcase work examples in a stylized way.

Printed in new corporate colours of orange and silver, the mailer has proved very successful, picking up enquiries from new clients such as Hammond Distillery, Which Magazine, Rubicon Drinks as well as other agencies. The new colours have also been used to update the company stationery and will be used on other marketing such as a folder, product leaflets and website.
