ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

  I had an appointment booked with Absolutely Faboulous today at 2.00 p.m. As I was running five minutes late I called them to say I was on my way only to be greeted by a receptionist who did not even listen to what I had to say, and just kept saying they were busy. I arrived eight minutes late but assured her she would not have to spend a lot of time on my hands as I don't have long nails. She then informs me that I am not on their system, therefore do not have an appointment. I know I booked one (I have it written in my diary) She then informs me not to worry, this has happened before as they have an old computer but that I can still have my one and a half hour treatment as long as I waited about 20 minutes. A chair was pulled out and placed by the door presumably for me to sit on, and then she went and carried out on with her client. No coffee was offered or even an apology. I felt like a spare part sitting there whilst everybody was busy chatting away whilst having their nails done. I felt absolutely awful sitting there and being ignored. After 10 minutes of waiting I asked them to let me out as I could not wait any longer. The place is small, not welcoming, and the staff have a lot to learn about their customer service. I spend a lot of money on facials at R. and thought I'd try somebody local for all my desired treatments. First impressions count and I certainly won't go back there even though I paid in advance.
