Detailed description:

Respect and warmth towards other children and adults are key features of this School. The ethos engendered enables successful teaching and learning to take place. In June, 2008, the School was recognised, through a local authority inclusion review, as The Flagship of the authority. When an inner urban school comprises more than thirty nationalities, identity and ethos are of prime importance. The children are taught, through example, to show tolerance and empathy, especially to new children who may have no English on arrival, and have experienced contrasting styles in life and education
