The school provides a wide range of extra curricular activities for our pupils. - Children may participate in a variety of sporting activities and clubs. These include: football, netball, rounders, badminton, golf, swimming, athletics, cricket, rugby, Stretch N Grow, Speed Stacking, Maths games club, Music clubs and Spanish club.
Detailed description:
The school competes frequently against other schools in many competitions and events, e.g. football, netball, rounders, swimming, badminton, rugby and athletics. - We also provide peripatetic music lessons in piano, violin and woodwind - Drama, dancing and singing activities for all children are offered via their involvement in the Christmas Concert and other seasonal performances.
- The Year 5 children perform annually at Hertford Castle Hall in the local Music Festival. - All children have the opportunity to go on a number of educational trips throughout the year.
Year 6 spent a very successful and educational PGL activity week in Hay-on-Wye. - Through our links with our local Specialist Status secondary schools Year 6 pupils receive weekly French lessons and have access to Science, Humanities and Music specialists.
