All residents have en-suite accommodation and bring their own furniture to make their room their home. Here residents can enjoy privacy and lead full and independent lives with the knowledge that there is an experienced member of staff to hand when they need them. There is a friendly atmosphere in the home and companionship with other residents and staff is never far away.
Detailed description:
There are lifts to all rooms above the ground floor and there are 2 large lounge/dining rooms and a conservatory overlooking a well-tended garden. In the garden are 2 garages where Mobility Scooters can be parked and charged. A large heated chalet in the garden provides space for hobbies. Visiting instructors provide the opportunity for residents to attend Arts and Crafts classes and Music and Movement.
Excursions are arranged mainly in the summer. Fashion displays are held in the house and entertainment and activities are provided. Visiting clergy are welcome and communion observed for all who wish to participate.
The house is managed by a dedicated well qualified Manager and her carefully appointed staff. Our cooks, gardener and cleaners all have high standards of service.
