AA Guest House is situated in the heart of Hemel Hempstead’s picturesque old town which is home to many quaint restaurants, pubs and its own church.

Service at our guest house is second to none and having run the establishment for over 25 years we understand what our clients need to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. A full English breakfast is available with vegetarian and vegan options also served.

Families are very welcome and high chairs and cots can be provided when required.

Our guest house has in its 350 year life been a pub, part of an iron works, Hemel Hempstead’s First Bank and the living quarters of Henry the 8th. Many other famous travellers have passed through our doors over the years.

Hemel Hempstead is situated in Hertfordshire, one of the Home Counties, and is approximately 20 miles from the centre of the UK capital, London. Easily accessible by road and train, London, offers a variety of places to visit, theatres, restaurants and of course Buckingham Palace!

Full leisure facilities are available with guest membership available. Wedding Parties are welcomed and the whole guest house can be rented out to one party (subject to prior arrangement and notice).
