The Legion was founded in 1921 as a voice for the ex-Service community and over 380, 000 members continue to ensure that this voice does not go unheard. Anyone can travel with Poppy Travel - you don't need to be a Legion member.The Royal British Legion, in partnership with the MoD and Help4Heroes, is funding the establishment of four Personnel Recovery Centres. The PRCs provide residential accommodation for Service personnel undergoing recovery and also run tailored programmes to assist them in their rehabilitation and return to duty or smooth transition to civilian life. PRCs will be located within existing garrison locations and will make use of garrison facilities such as medical services, recreation and education centres.
