Silver Cross Scout Centre has been developed by Glamorgan West Area Scout Council to serve the needs of the Scout Movement locally and also on a National and International level. In addition, Silver Cross is also used by many other youth organisations, and the site's facilities are suitable for the disabled and also various ethnic groups. Here at Silver Cross we have no real restrictions on the use of wood fires and you can always be sure to find plenty of wood lying around to keep scouts happy for hours. The only request we do make is that the fires are kept to the designated fire areas Also we would be grateful if you could keep the fires to a sensible size. It is the responsibility of each group to practice good fire safety around their fire site.
