At Greenholm school we aim to be a caring school community, working together for quality and success in education At Greenholm we put partnership with parents into practice in a variety of ways. Parents are always welcome to come into school to discuss matters with staff or the Headteacher, we strive to be approachable and warm as this helps to create a nicer school community for the pupils. The Headteacher is always willing to see parents, other commitments permitting. It is important that you let us know if there are problems at home that may be affecting your child. Illness in a family, bereavement or family break ups may all affect your child and alerting us to the difficulties allows us to deal with you sensitively. Anything you tell us about such circumstances will be treated confidentially.

We are a two-form entry primary school with a nursery, in Erdington, North Birmingham. Our aim is to give parents and carers a wider view of the life and work of our school through this website. Communications between home and school are most important. We hope that you find this website both informative and useful. Education is a shared responsibility and we value a good relationship with our parents and the wider school community. Support from home is invaluable, and we consider it vital that the school, the children and their families work together in order to enjoy success and happiness during the child's formative years. We currently have about 320 pupils in the junior and infant departments, with 30 full-time and 60 part-time pupils in the nursery. We have an open-door approach for parents and carers. The first point of contact is usually our Office Manager, Mrs Allen.
