- ACTION MENTAL HEALTH
COUNTY ANTRIM, BT8 8BH BELFAST, MOURNE HOUSE KNOCKBRACKEN HEALTHCARE PARK SAINTFIELD ROADAction Mental Health aims to enhance the quality of life and employability of people with mental health needs or a learning disability. Good mental health is fundamental to the health and wellbeing of every person. We all have mental health, some people define it as a state of mind, others view it as being content with life or feeling good about yourself. Mental health is perhaps best explained as how well we cope with daily life and the challenges it brings. When our mental health is good, we can more fully enjoy and appreciate the people and environment around us. We respond better to the stresses and challenges of daily life; we are more creative, use our abilities to the fullest and make the most of opportunities. When our “mental health is poor, it can be difficult to function in our daily lives.
