Fullers Earth is a delightful Grade 2 Listed Country House dating to about 1750. A Georgian frontage was added in 1820 when the property formed part of the Hunting Box for Cattistock Hunt providing quarters for the huntsmen. The thatched stables were built at about the same time. Later it became a private home, the dwelling of Colonel Fuller, a Joint Master of the hunt - which is how the house came by its unusual name.
