Every day of the year, Morning and Evening Prayer is said or sung and the Eucharist is celebrated. In addition, thousands of people come from all over Suffolk and beyond to worship God at special services throughout the year, which celebrate our common life and acknowledge our common concerns. There are approximately 100 of these special services in addition to 960 regular services every year.

It has a lively worshiping community with a strong Junior Church (usually over 70 children from 0-16), a good choir and a wide range of groups and activities. St Michael’s and All Angels is a traditional rural church with a strong bell-ringing community, serving the village of Beckwithshaw.
The new St Anne’s Parish Church was opened in November 2000. The foundation stone was laid by Bishop Philip Pargeter and the completed building was blessed by Archbishop Vincent Nichols on 11th November 2000. It is is octagonal, airy, and modern in design. It has full disabled facilities, and – unlike the old St Anne’s - a community room with kitchen and toilets. It was an awkward site, but much has been achieved within the constraints of budget and location.
