The Brownston Gallery opened its doors as Devon's newest and most exciting contemporary art gallery in April 2006. Based in the centre of historic Modbury, in the heart of the beautiful South Hams countryside in South Devon, the gallery occupies some 1300 sq ft.

At Bryn Jones Photography our aim is not to be intrusive but to capture the best moments of your special day or event. Whether it is a traditional set of photographs, contemporary, reportage or a combination of styles, we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Each piece of my work is a dissected section of a whole form. Once I have the initial, more traditional vessel on the wheel, I work in to the clay and add slips, as the piece is moving. Once the body is firm, I cut it in two with the wheel still in motion. I am currently using underglaze colours and oxides to enhance the already layered and worn surface. Once fired I continue to work back into the clay and usually fire several times..
