The aim of the Scheme is to help individuals who need care at home, whether they have a carer or not, or families caring for the mentally or physically handicapped, frail and confused elderly, chronically sick or terminally ill by providing Care Attendants who will take over responsibility for varying periods. Sense Scotland is always in need of generous people who can spare some of their time to help out in one of our shops. Volunteers are responsible for carrying out general shop duties and can be offered a number of posts. Full training is provided and a qualified member of staff will always be present to lend their support or assistance.
