As a family we know one another and care for one another very much, and as a family we see God as our Father, because we are a faith-based school. Although we strive for good academic results, we are well aware that academic ability is not the be-all-and-end-all. Children have many different interests, skills and abilities and huge potential, and we work hard to make the education we offer as broad as possible to meet this range.
With the successful introduction of Golden Time a wide choice of activities are available for the children to choose from as a reward for hard work and good behaviour.

We were deeply saddened by the recent death of one our Foundation Governors, Mr Peter Barratt. Peter was one of our stalwart governors for over 10 years and, as well as being involved in many local charities, he was President of Accrington Cricket Club. He was a frequent visitor to Mount Carmel and a great friend and supporter of the school. Our prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to his wife, Iris and family.
