Our relationship with Tree Work started way back in the Late 1950's when Derek Simmonds started working for his local council. As a result he soon found his natural ability for tree climbing and tree work. Things were very different then, with no such thing as a harness and only the most basic of tools to work with. Thankfully things have changed since then, and the constant development in tools and machinery have allowed us to progress in the ever growing need to care for and protect trees, thus giving us a more pleasant environment to live in. The latest set of examination papers for students are always available and all examinations are sat at the Club. Full comprehensive student notes are kept on each individual trainee pilot and applications for licences and ratings will be made by the Club on behalf of the student if requested.
