New Starts Abstinence Housing and Support Services provide drug and alcohol free environments for people with a history of substance misuse, who are at various stages of recovery from addiction. Halkyn House was opened by the New Start in December 2008 as the organisations first Abstinence site. The purpose of the service was to provide a safe and good quality rehabilitation house in which service users could benefit from support whilst tackling addiction.
